Especially, since the latter doesn't require a castle. I haven't yet figured out a proper use for Livgardes, either. English Routiers and Ecorcheurs. [...] they would be more used after Nobility PD.Same with me. For two reasons:
1. I rely more on mounted units, anyway
2. "Nobility" makes castles more affordable, hence castle units (Royal Knights & Ecorcheurs) more likely to be trained.Savoyard Ribalds. Does anyone make them for something except fun? They hardly can hit any enemy unit. They are good against dense masses of enemy units, especially archers. Other than that I just like the fun fact of 40 Ribalds - if the enemy allows me the time to mass them - mowing down a defense line. Can the PD just upgrade Gefolgsmannen to Reichsritters?German: Gefolgsmänner (pl.), Reichsritter (sg. & pl.)
