No Combat in Death Match Mode.

Hunger Games writes: Whenever I play death match mode, and the starting age is "Post-Imperial Age" there's no combat going on what so ever.
None of my allies or enemies will build up military forces. All they build is guard towers and that's it! But if I start in "Imperial Age" it's a whole different story. A whole lot of combat will progress. I don't want to start in Imperial Age cause I prefer not to do any researches. I only want to start in "Post-Imperial Age." Is there some way I can fix this?
