Dat file question

chiruscan writes: I added a mod to the AOE 2 .dat file.

Is there some way I could copy the mod from the AOE 2 main .dat file to the Forgotten Empires .dat file so I wouldnt have to manually add the mod to the FE dat file?

If I just try to overwrite the FE file with the AOE2 one Im assuming it wouldnt work?
