On the note of balance I have a remark as well, Light cavalry has become all-powerful. With petite ordonnance and 10 pierce armor castles, town centers and ranged units hardly kill them anymore. Last game(which I forgot to stream sadly) I made knightly cavarly, arbalesters, militia and knightly infantry with Bavaria but all of them died against the waves of light cavalry. Only pikemen stood a chance but were too slow to catch up or got killed by ranged units. Even lancers aren't as effective against them. In that game both enemy players had up to 60-70% of their army consisting out of light cavalry and they just overrun my army and were invulnerable to town center fire.
They're now a heavy unit with the price of a trash unit.
I also agree that the price for archers should be reverted to what it was before
